Over 700 women aged 30 years or older who were high-risk HPV positive at baseline sampling will be called back for follow-up testing during the next 6 months.
The aim of the follow-up testing is to establish the 3-year negative and positive predictive values of the CONFIDENCE Assay on high-risk HPV positive women.
Our aim is to prove that the Assay can find the highest risk women who need treatment with high precision and it can also recognize HPV infection which only carry a very low risk of developing an underlying disease.
